These terms govern your use of Seaward, a trip-planning and briefing tool operated by Seaward Labs, LLC.
Planning aid only
Seaward is provided as a planning aid and informational tool. It is not a substitute for current charts, official notices, weather, onboard instruments, prudent seamanship, or your own judgment.
User responsibility
You are responsible for verifying any output before acting on it and for using Seaward lawfully and safely. Decisions made underway or before departure remain your responsibility.
Accounts and acceptable use
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining its security. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use Seaward to violate any law or third-party rights.
Ownership
Seaward, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Seaward Labs, LLC or its licensors. These terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the service.
Availability and changes
Seaward Labs, LLC may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, and may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of Seaward after updates means the revised terms will apply.
Disclaimer and limitation
Seaward is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Seaward Labs, LLC disclaims warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of the service.
